The North Rhine-Westphalia Horticultural Association (Landesverband Gartenbau Nordrhein-Westfalen e. V.) brings together a total of over 2,000 members from the fields of flower and ornamental plant cultivation, retail nurseries and garden centers, cemetery nurseries, tree nurseries, market gardening, and producers of christmas trees and cut greenery.

NRW is the No. 1 horticultural state in Germany. More than a third of all flowers and plants produced in Germany come from North Rhine-Westphalia. North Rhine-Westphalia's horticultural businesses generate annual sales revenues of 1.3 billion euros. Create around 50,000 jobs and offer young people 4,200 training places.
