Reindonkse Tuin BV
Reindonkse Tuin was founded in 1982 by Pieter Verschure and Maria Verschure-Vogelsangs in Aarle-Rixtel in the south-east of the Netherlands. In 2006, a greenhouse was added to the expansion in Hegelsom on the Dutch-German border. Since then, high-quality bedding plants, chrysanthemums and sweet potato plants have been cultivated there on a production area of around 7 hectares under glass. In Aarle-Rixtel, near Croy Castle, the company has specialized in the production of various types of chrysanthemums, asters and sweet potatoes on around 50 hectares of open land.
Sustainability is a clear focus at Reindonkse Tuin. The culture takes place completely in organic cultivation on organic film. The company has already received various awards for this innovative production method. Chrysanthemums and asters from Reindonkse Tuin are immediately recognizable as “certified sustainable products” thanks to the Landgard sustainability seal. In addition, the nursery is MPS A, MPS GAP, MPS SQ, Global GAP and Global GRASP.
